As they travel the highways and byways of America, Chambers brilliantly mixes John Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley with a comic flair recognizable from Jack Lemmon’s finest films. Travels reads like a Billy Wilder script. It’s a funny, touching exploration of what it means to be a man in America today. It’s a great ride. And then another workshop at First Stage Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
